59 person tested positive, one death reports in UT Ladakh
42 patients cured and discharged
Leh (Ladakh), September 18(Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, total 59 person were tested positive for Covid-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 35 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 24 positive reports.
With the death of one more patient from Covid-19 in Kargil district, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 48; 20 in Leh and 28 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that
UT Ladakh has discharged 42 patients today, after the negative sample report were received by CMO Leh and CMO Kargil yesterday. Out of which 38 patients were discharged by CMO Leh and
04 patients were discharged by CMO Kargil.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has gone up to 987; 503 in Leh district and 484 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that, out of 35 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 07 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test, 01 positive sample report was detected through True Nat,11 positive sample reports were received from NCDC New Delhi, 03 positive sample reports were receivedfrom DIHAR Lab Leh and 13 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab Chuchot.
While, out of 24 positive sample reports received by CMO Kargil, 09 positive sample reports weredetected through True Nat, 06 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab Chuchotand 09 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test.
Today CMO Kargil sent 18 samples to PGIMER Chandigarh while CMO Leh sent 103 samples to NCDC New Delhi for testing.
162 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today....
