BJP slams NPP leader for misbehaving with Director School Education

Jammu, July 14 (Scoop News)-Expressing his anguish over irresponsible and arrogant behavior of Panthers Party leader Harsh Dev Singh, spokesperson of J&K unit of BJP, Dr Tahir Chowdhary on Tuesday slammed Singh for misbehaving with female senior bureaucrat and Director School Education- Anuradha Gupta. “It is highly condemnable and shocking that person who himself remained as Education Minister, was behaving with a female officer”, Dr Chowdhary said while reacting towards a video viral on the social media.
“In a video circulating on social media, Singh can be seen accusing Director School Education Anuradha Gupta for corruption charges without any proof and when the female asked to give any proof Panthers Party leaders failed to provide any”, he said.
Dr Tahir said that in video Harsh Dev can be seen shouting at the senior government official in her office chamber.
He added the approach adopted by former education Minister is manner-less. “If he had any issue or complaints against education department, there are many ways to highlight the same,” Dr Tahir said. “Such behavior is not acceptable from such politician, especially who claimed to highly qualified” he said.
“In 2018, Harsh Dev allegedly abused the deputy commissioner, Udhampur, Ravinder Kumar and senior superintendent of police (SSP) Rayees Mohammad Bhat during an official meeting,” he recalled and observed Panthers Party leader was finding it difficult to digest defeat of 2014 assembly elections because he used to consider himself as autocrat of Ramnagar.
Dr Tahir demanded that the Hrash Dev must tender apology or concerned authorities should take legal action against him for his attitude.
