1 tested COVID-19 positive in Kargil district; 30 patients cured in UT Ladakh
Active cases drop to 347


Leh,June 29 (Scoop News)-As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, 09 patients in Home Isolation from Leh district and discharged. While, 18 patients from COVID Hospital Kargil and 3 patients from COVID Care Centre Kargil were discharged today from Kargil district after their negative reports was received by CMO Leh and Kargil respectively yesterday.

With this, the number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has dropped to 347; 98 in Leh district and 249 in Kargil district and the condition of all 347 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.


The bulletin further reports that, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Leh received 31 negative sample reports from PGIMER Chandigarh and 3 sample needs retesting. While Chief Medical Officer Kargil received 01 positive sample report and 3 Negative sample reports and 01 sample needs retesting.

Today, 110 samples was sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of the total samples, 37 samples are sent by CMO Leh and 73 samples are sent by CMO Kargil.

58 passengers and 147 drivers and helpers of 99 trucks /tankers and light motors vehicles were screened at Khaltsi Check post yesterday. The vehicles were also sanitized.

The Health workers at Upshi check post screened 191 passengers yesterday, which includes
drivers and helpers of 76 tankers, 15 trucks and 08 light motor vehicles.
