| 6 sample tests negative; separate COVID-19 hospital facility recognised in Leh | |  Leh,March 28 (Scoop News)-Commissioner/Secretary (Health) Rigzin Samphel in a press conference stated that a total of 6 sample reports were received from NCDC, Delhi today, and all the results are of Kargil district and are negative for COVID-19.
In order to deliver proper medical treatment, Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital will be used as the separate hospital facility dedicated for COVID-19 in Leh district. Fresh positive cases of COVID-19 would be placed at Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital which houses 50 beds, Samphel added.
Answering a query, Samphel stated that disciplinary action will be initiated soon against those doctors who are on deputation-basis out of Ladakh in different parts of the country and have not joined back despite repeated orders. Further violation of order would invite the decision of termination of their service, he asserted.
And as per the media bulletin released, the condition of all 10 positive cases in UT Ladakh are stable.
