| Sikh Progressive Front and Kashmir Sikh Sangat Condemned the Horrific terror attack in Kabul | |
Jammu, March 26 (Scoop News)-S Balvinder Singh President & S Manjit Singh Gen Secretary Sikh Progressive Front along with S Tejwant Singh Reen President Kashmir Sikh Sangat, along with their members condemned the Horrific terror attack by IS terror group on Gurudwara Sahib in the heart of Kabul capital of Afghanistan, which took life of twenty five worshipers including women and children and injuring many others in an early morning attack.
As per the eye witness at least 200 worshipers were trapped inside the Gurudwara when the attack began at about 7 AM interrupting worship that started an hour earlier.
All members of these organizations stated that these innocent killings of Sikhs needs to be condemned by the world leadership as this attack happened when the entire world is fighting the menace of Covid- 19 and India is also in the grip of fear of this Pandemic and the entire country is under a complete lockdown.
SPF members further urged upon the Prime Minister of India Jb Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister Jb Raj Nath Singh to take up the matter with Afghan Government to act fast for ensuring the safety of Sikhs living in Afghanistan and provide all necessary help to those family members of those killed and injured.
Members appealed to the whole world to ensure the safety of the minorities living in Afghanistan and also to take drastic actions aginst the terror group behind the attack. They further stated that Afghanistan’s tiny Sikh community is one of few religious minority in the country, protected by law but frequently targeted by extremists in 2018 also when a joint delegation of Sikhs and Hindus of Afghanistan were travelling to meet the President of Afghanistan, Ashraf Ghani, were targeted by a suicide bomber and killed 19 innocent peoples.
Other prominent persons who were present in the meeting are S. Rajinder Singh Sudan, S Janak Singh, S. Sharanjit Singh Shunty, S. T. P Singh, S. Karamjit Singh, S K.N Singh, S. Babu Singh, S. Manjit Singh etc.
