| Army conducts interaction with the Sarpanches, Panches | |
Srinagar, February 14 (Scoop News)-Army Camp Watergam organised an interaction with the Sarpanches, Panches and opinion makers. The purpose of conducting this interaction was to discuss the upcoming Panchyat Elections and general situation of the area. Many important issues were put forth by the Sarpanchs and they were discussed threadbare.
The strength of the attendees in the Awaami meet was 55 in which seven Sarpanchs, 11 Ward Members, five Panches and 32 opinion makers were present. The locals believe that peace and tranquillity in the region can only be enhanced by synergy of efforts between the locals and Army.
During the interaction special emphasis was given towards maintaining peace and harmony in the area. The locals have given their willing commitment to sensitize and educate the people and urge them to collectively contribute towards development.
The villagers also seized this opportunity to discuss various administrative, security, health and financial issues in the village.
The locals expressed their gratitude for the continued support of the Army in all their endeavours.
