| Inter AGS cricket tournament organized | |
Srinagar,July 12 (Scoop News)- In pursuance of Army's ongoing efforts under Op Sadhbhavna and consistent endeavour to bridge the gap between security forces and youth of Kashmir valley, an inter AGS cricket tournament was organised by AGS Sopore from 11 Jul 19 with an intent to positively engage the youth and to promote sports culture.
A total of six teams of different Army Goodwill Schools participated in the tournament. These teams were divided into two pools of three teams each. Matches of pool A were conducted at Sopore and Pool B at Chandigam respectively. On the opening day in Pool A Sopore vs Bandipur, Sopore won by two wickets, in the second match of Pool A Hanzik vs Bandipore, Team Hanzik won by 6 wickets. In Pool B first match between Chandigam vs Krusan, Team Chandigam won by one run.
