| CEC JTN called on Dr. Jitendra Singh at Delhi | | 
Leh, January 08 (Scoop News)-The Chairman/ CEC LAHDC Leh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal and Executive Councillor for Agriculture Phuntsog Stanzin met with Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State in Prime Minister Office at New Delhi yesterday evening and sought his intervention in fulfilling the long pending demands of the people of Ladakh including inclusion of Bhoti language in the Eighth Schedule of Constitution, grant of Divisional Status to Ladakh, sanctioning of a Medical College in Leh as assured by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit of Leh last summer for which LAHDC Leh has already identified a suitable land nearby SNM Hospital Leh and sought his personal intervention in sorting out the long pending case of LAHDC Leh’s land situated at Dwarka in New Delhi for construction of Ladakh Sarai for poor patients, student and pilgrims who visit National Capital and many other issues and demands of Leh district.
Dr. Jitendra Singh gave very patient hearing to all the grievances and assured of due consideration for all the demands.
