Army organises Kaumi Ekta meet at Saryah



Udhampur,December 18 (Scoop News)-In order to strengthen the bond between the local populace and Army, a Kaumi Ekta Meet was organised by the Indian Army on 18 Dec 18 at village Saryah, district Rajouri, wherein a constructive interaction was held on the topic 'Civil/ Military Cordial Relationship'.
The participants included villagers, officials from the civil administration and Army personnel. During the meet, a detailed discussion on the subject theme was conducted and all participants took active part in the event. The gathering was convinced of the fact that Army is working towards continuous development of area and its people, to include infrastructure, social facilities, education and religious harmony. The AWAM was also informed about the pivotal role played by the Army in women and youth empowerment and the various skill development projects undertaken by the Army.
The local villagers appreciated and applauded the support provided by the Army in all spheres. Speaking on the occasion, the Sarpanch of Saryah said that such meetings not only enhance the bond between the Army and AWAM but also boost the morale of the locals which in turn assists in maintaining peace and harmony in the region.
