BJP observes “Ek Deep Shaheedon Ke Naam” at Deepawali

Jammu, November 08 (Scoop News)-Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu and Kashmir, celebrated this Deepawali as "Ek Deep Shaheedon Ke Naam" at its party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar.
BJP State President Ravinder Raina (MLA), Union MoS in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh, MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP (Rajya Sabha) Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Dy. CM Kavinder Gupta, BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, State General Secretaries Dr. Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi, State Spokesperson & former Minister Priya Sethi and other senior leaders lighted "Earthen Lamp" in the memory of brave security persons who have sacrificed their lives in the honour of "Bharat Mata".
While lighting the Earthen Lamp, Ravinder Raina said that Deepawali is the one of the most sacred occasions observed by Hindus. He said that it marks the triumph good over evil. He said that whilst the Raja Rama Chandra returned to his hometown, the sacred city of Ayodhya after the defeat of demon king Ravana, the residents of Ayodhya enlightened the entire pathway with lamps to greet their dear King. Raina added He said that on this holy day, we denounce the cowardly acts of Pakistan and its sponsored terrorists which takes lives of over countless citizens and brave army men. While he took the opportunity to greet the people on the auspicious occasion, he also appealed to everyone to light one lamp on the names of martyrs as well.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, while speaking on the occasion, said that just days before the motherland has lost its two sons and BJP has lost its dedicated soldiers. He said that the loss will never be covered in the entire belt. He said that being shell shocked by the incident, as a part of family, the party resolved that this Deepawali will dedicated to every single person, be it civilian or Army man. And we all have today enlightened at least one lamp each to pray for those who sacrificed their today for our better tomorrow.
Kavinder Gupta, while greeting all the party workers on the occasion, said that the among the festivities the occasion teaches us how to be strong willed to fight for the right cause. He said that God Shree Ram is referred to as “Maryada Purushottam” as He teaches the right way to live and fight the wrongs.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, also greeted everyone on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali and said that this festival prompts us to make ourselves stronger to fight the evils within as well as in the society. While lighting the lamp he appealed everybody to contribute in the Nation making.
Shamsher Singh Manhas, while greeting the masses on occasion, asked all to pray for the peace on Earth and end the troubled times for those who bear the burnt of fire. He also said that we must inculcate the desire of serving the mother Earth in some useful way.
Rajeev Charak, Ajay Pargal, Chander Mohan Gupta, Naresh Dogra, S. Varinderjit Singh, Tilak Raj Gupta, Jaidev Rajwal, Arvind Gupta, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, N.D. Rajwal, Parneesh Mahajan, Anuradha Charak, K.S. Bhatti, Hari Om Sharma, were among the prominent BJP leaders present on the occasion.
