| Commissioner Secy PWD takes stock R&B sector works in Kargil | | Kargil, August 16 (Scoop News)- Commissioner Secretary, Public Works Department, Khurshid Ahmad Shah today convened a meeting with the officers and engineers of Public Works Department, District Kargil to review the pace of progress of various works under execution in the district here today.
Detailed discussion was held on various ongoing schemes and projects like National Highway Zanskar-Kargil road, annual maintenance and repairs including snow clearance and Action Taken Reports.
Addressing the meeting, the Commissioner asked them to work with utmost dedication and gear up their field functionaries and speed up the pace of work on all ongoing developmental works and complete them in a stipulated time frame. He also asked them to use standard material and judicious funds.
Earlier, the SE gave detailed power point presentation of the progress achieved and the status of works of all ongoing projects.
The meeting was attended by the Superintendent Engineer, R&B and other concerned officers and engineers.
