| Skill training and employment programme held at Handwara | |
Srinagar, July 21, (Scoop News)- As a part of ‘Project Himayat’, a Skill Training and Employment Programme was organised by the Army on 20 July 2018 at Handwara wherein a total of eight Project Implementation Agencies namely Apollo Medical Skills, DB Technologies, Surya Skills, IL & FS Skills, CAP Foundation, Orion Edutech, Team Lease and Manpower Group joined hands together and counselled the aspiring youth of Rajwar and neighbouring areas. ‘Project Himayat’ is a youth employment programme and is a part of the initiative undertaken by the Ministry of Rural Development (J&K).
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from the youth with more than 250 students including girls turning up for the event. Seeing the interest of the aspiring young generation, more such events have been scheduled to be organised in this area over the next few days.
