Mirwaiz condoles sad demise of Maqbool Sahil
expresses concern over disappearance of a Kupwara student in Orissa, visits slain militant, Eisa Fazali's, home




Srinagar, March 21, (Scoop News)-APHC leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, expressed shock and grief over the sudden death of Kashmir’s noted poet, author, and journalist Maqbool Sahil and termed his contribution invaluable.

Mirwaiz termed the death of Sahil as a big loss for the entire journalist and literature fraternity of Kashmir stating that his death has created a void in field of Urdu journalism.

He said the contribution made by Sahil in the fields of journalism, poetry and literature will always be remembered.

Mirwaiz expressed sympathy and solidarity with the family members of the deceased and prayed for the highest standards in Jannah for him.

Meanwhile, Mirwaiz expressed his serious concern over the continuing disappearance of a Kupwara student in Orissa. Suhail Aijaz went missing last month but the authorities have failed to trace him so far.

HE termed the death of Aijaz’s uncles, who were returning from Orrisa, in a road accident at Handwara extremely tragic and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of Aijaz’s father, who is also seriously injured.

APHC leader also visited the residence of slain militant Muhammad Eisa Fazili in downtown Srinagar and met his father Naeem Fazili and expressed his condolences and extended his solidarity with the bereaved family members.

He prayed for eternal peace to departed soul of Eisa Fazili.
