| Army organized a Medical Camp rally in Tangmarg | |
Srinagar, March 21, (Scoop News)-The Army organized a Medical Camp at Government Boys High School, Ferozpura on 20 March 2018 wherein a total of 450 patients were examined and given specialist advice. Free medicines were also distributed during the Camp to the local populace of Tangmarg region. The Medical Camp was inaugurated by Commander, Chinar Corps Artillery Brigade along with BMO and SDH, Tangmarg.
An Ex-serviceman meet was also organized where a Grievance Redressal Cell was established which patiently listened to the problems of ex-service men and assured that the issues highlighted will be projected at the appropriate levels to get desired solutions for benefit of all.
Distribution of sewing machines to needy & deserving women of nearby villages of Tangmarg region was also organised which was a great morale booster for poor women who would now be able to earn their livelihood with dignity. The event was a huge success and the locals appreciated the efforts of Army and thanked for taking such a thoughtful initiative.
