| Usman, Dikshita and Rushali selected for World University Games | |
Jammu March 19, (Scoop News)-Prof. Jigar Mohd., Dean Research Studies and Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Registrar, University of Jammu today felicitated the players of the University of Jammu Korfball (Mixed) Team who won the Bronze medal in the All India Inter-University Korfball (Mixed) Championship 2017-18 organized by the Osmania University, Hyderabad w.e.f March 10th to 12th in the presence of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, Dr. Akhilesh Sharma, P.S. to Vice-Chancellor, Mr. Vikas Karlopia, I/C Korfball Game, Sh. Irfan Choudhary, Team coach and Mr. Mohit Singh Bhau, Team Manager.
This is first time in the history of the University of Jammu that three players of Korfball team namely Usman Rashid, GGM Sc. College, Rushali Mengi, GCW Parade and Dikshita Raina, GCW Gandhinagar selected for the World University Games scheduled to be held at Holland in the month of November this year.
Prof. Jigar Mohd. and Dr. Meenakshi Kilam lauded the efforts of the team players and officials for winning the medal for the University and also congratulated the players who have been selected for the World University Games. They advised them to work hard for elite performance in the future too.... |
