| Srinagar police organizes sports events | |
Srinagar, January 15, (Scoop News)- To inculcate spirit of sportsmanship and competition among the youth, Srinagar police has organized a day long sports events under Civic Action Programme at SP Higher Secondary School Kothibagh and Amar Singh Club.
The event at SP Higher Secondary School Kothibagh was organized by Police Station Kothibagh in which a number of students participated in various sports activities viz Carom, table tennis & other indoor games. The participants were provided with refreshments and other facilities during the event. At the end of the event, the winners were rewarded suitably by Srinagar police.
The event at Amar Singh Club was organized by Police Station Ram Munshi Bagh in which hundreds of youth from Sonwar, Dalgate, Batwara & adjacent areas participated in various sports activities viz Volleyball, Badminton, Snooker, table tennis & Carom. The sports event was played on knock-out basis. Emerging singers from musical band Expandable entertained the participants with mesmerizing songs & music. The event concluded with the distribution of medals among the winners of different games.
