| DC urges Ramban youth to attend Army recruitment rally at Akhnoor, Jammu | | Ramban, April 24, (Scoop News)-Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz has appealed to local youth of the district to participate in army recruitment rally scheduled to be held at Akhnoor and Jammu from May 06 to May 22, 2017.
Recruitment will be based on online application system for which candidates will have to apply through the web page www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
It is informed that the recruitment rally will be held for all categories (Sol NA, Sol GD, Sol Tech, Sol Tdn and Sol Clk/SKT) for candidates of Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur, Poonch, Rajouri, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban and Reasi districts. Common entrance exam (CEE) for candidates screened in the rally will be held at Akhnoor and Jammu on May 28, 2017. Negative marking system will be observed in CEE (i.e ½ negative marks for every wrong answers).
As per communication received from concerned quarters, all the candidates of district Ramban besides other districts who register themselves and apply online are required to report at the rally site (Akhnoor, Jammu) as per the dates given in the admit card for their respective Tehsils/ Districts.
Admit card for the candidates will be issued from the recruiting Directorate website to their registered email ids.
Candidates are required to report with the printed admit card (minimum 600 DPI print, to facilitate reading by barcode reader) and the self declaration affidavit. Format of affidavit is given on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
Additional details pertaining to police station, post office and PIN code are to be included in the affidavit.
