| Militants kill PDP district President in Pulwama | | 
Srinagar, April 24, (Scoop News)- Militants shot dead the PDP Pulwama, district president, Abdul Gani Dar(Advocate) at Pinglena in south Kashmir on Monday.
Reports said that PDP leader Abdul Gani Dar succumbed to his injuries after being shot at three times from a close range with an AK assault rifle. Two bullets hit him in the chest and one in the shoulder, report said.
According to reports Militants targeted the Mr.Dar when he was traveling in a vehicle near Pingalana village in Pulwama district.
It may be mentioned here that in August 2016, on the call of the pro-freedom leadership, many locals pasted posters at the house of PDP district president Pulwama Advocate Abdul Gani Dar and asked him to quit the pro-India party to join the freedom movement.
