| Mirwaiz expresses grief over fatal air crash in north Pakistan | | condemns killing of Arif, voices concern over harassment of Kashmiri students | Srinagar, December 8, (Scoop News)-APHC leader, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has condemned the killing of Arif Amin Shah allegedly by the government forces at Arwani village of Anantnag district.
Meanwhile, Mirwaiz has expressed shock and grief over the fatal air crash in north Pakistan which led to the killing of 47 people on board.
Conveying his heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the bereaved families and the people of Pakistan, Mirwaiz termed the air crash incident as unfortunate and regrettable incident, adding, it led to the death of 47 people including the famous naat khwan Junaid jamsheed. Mirwaiz has prayed for the departed souls.
Expressing his serious concern over the continuous alleged harassment of Kashmiri students studying in various professional colleges outside Kashmir by the communal forces, APHC leader has stated that it gives an impression that such forces have formulated a ploy to keep Kashmiri students bereft of education by constantly threatening and bullying them.
Drawing his attention to the grave problem, Mirwaiz stated that recently some goons belonging to right wing groups entered the premises of Combined Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, where half a dozen Kashmiri students were thrashed by the goons.
Expressing his concern over the rising incidents of such nature in India, Mirwaiz condemned the thrashing of students at Dehradun and asked the concerned authorities to ensure their security.
