| JPPF celebrates Accession Day, holds Accession Day seminar | | Accession is settled :Speakers |  Jammu, October 27, (Scoop News)-As a mark of celebration of Accession Day Jammu Province People Forum after flag hoisting at its Headquarter Thakkar Sabha Jammu organized a rally culminating at Mahajan Sabha Shalamar where a Seminar was held with the participation of members of Sabhas/Societies, traders, transporters, NGOs, Legal luminaries and intellectuals who are the basic constituents of JPPF.
The speakers spoke at length to analyze the importance of celebrating the Accession day for Jammu & Kashmir state with the union of India especially in the circumstances when a handful of unscrupulous elements including politicians have challenged the accession as a simple merger and not an accession and termed the same as void. It becomes all the more important to celebrate the accession day when in Kashmir the antinational elements including separatists are celebrating the day as black day. The speakers convinced the audience that there is no lacuna in the instrument of succession signed by the Maharaja of the J&K state Hari Singh on October 26, 1947, which was accepted by the then Governor General, Government of India Lord Mountbatten on October 27, 1947.
The speakers included MS Katoch working president JPPF, Kr Naryan Singh president Rajput Sabha, Vinod Gupta president Central Mahajan Sabha, VP Sharma president Dogra Brahmin Pratinidi Sabha, Udhey Chand president Duggar Pradesh Party, Resham Singh Jamwal, KB Jandial IAS (retired), Abhinav Sharma president Bar Association Jammu and Sunita Sharma. The seminar was compeered Pawan Gupta general secretary Central Mahajan Sabha.
While concluding the seminar, president JPPF Pavitar Singh Bhardwaj appealed one and all to celebrate the accession day on October 27 at every nook and corner of the state irrespective caste, creed and political affiliations forming a common platform for the purpose of celebration. He urged the people to aware children about the importance of the accession day in their lives. He urged the Chief Minister to make it a government festival and make it mandatory to celebrate it in each and every government offices.
