Era of development has started across the country: Rekha


Jammu, September 29, (Scoop News)-While highlighting the achievements of Narendra Modi led Government at the Centre, BJP Mahila Morcha Jammu District President Rekha Mahajan said that the both, BJP-led NDA government at the center and BJP coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir are constantly working towards the realization of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya 's idea of empowering the last man in the row and bettering the economy of the poor. She created awareness among the people at grass root level in Ward No. 15, Mohallan Paharian.
The programme was organised by Morcha activist Surinder Kour.
On this occasion, Morcha State General Secretary Anju Dogra , State Secretary Neeru Anand, District General Secretary Savita Anand, Sunita Kundal, Surekha, Geeta Basa, Roopali and other morcha activists were also present.
Rekha Mahajan said that our government is a development centric government and its priorities are good governance and corruption free administration. BJP Government is dedicated towards the welfare of the poor. As our Prime Minister had made it clear in his very first speech in Parliament that this would be a government for poor, backward classes and the marginalized sections of the society.
She briefed the gathering about various projects like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Namami Ganga and appealed to make it a public movement. She also thanked PM Modi for launching Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana in J&K, as this will help in safeguarding the health of women and children by providing them with a clean cooking fuel- LPG so that they do not have to compromise their health in smoky kitchens or wander in unsafe areas collecting firewood.
Rekha said although two years period is less for bringing a change but still our PM has worked round the clock to ensure that more and more schemes and projects are launched for bringing progress and prosperity and it is visible that an era of development has started across the country.
