| Workshop on TDS, TCS provisions for DDOs held | | Reasi,August 29(Scoop News)- A workshop to educate the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDO) regarding TDS (Tax Deduction at Sources) and TCS(Tax Consultancy Service) was organized here today by the Income Tax Department Jammu.
The workshop was held under the guidance of Y.K Singh, Commissioner IT (TDS) Chandigarh and J.S Kahlon, Additional Commissioner of Income tax.
The objective of holding the workshop was to educate the DDOs regarding deduction of tax at source and to aware them about the latest developments and changes in TDS/TCS procedures like online issuance of Form 16/16A, Form 26 AS through TIN website ,obtaining AIN number and e- filing of 24 G by PAO etc.,the knowledge of which is very essential for all the tax deductors.
DDC Reasi Ravinder Kumar, ACD Suram Chand Sharma, CPO, H L Sharma, DPO Rajeev Khajuria, DTO Mahesh Sharma ,CEO Vinod Kumar Soni and other DDOs attended the workshop.
