Bajalta Kings beats Bain Gladiators
Agore Superjets defeats Aithem Super Warriors




Bajalta,February 09 (Scoop News)- Bajalta Kings defeated Bain Gladiators while Agore Superjets won a sensational match against Aithem Super Warriors in the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana.

Played at sprawling Bajalta play field in the Nagrota Assembly Constituency, Bain Gladiators won the toss and put Bajalta Kings to bat first. Getting a good start, Bajalata Kings scored 142 runs at a loss of five wickets in the prescribed 14 overs.



Struggling to chase the score, Bain Gladiators scored only 139 runs, losing seven wickets and trailing behind four runs.



Pankaj Sharma of Balta Kings scored 64 runs and Gul Mohammad 32 runs.



Waris of Balata Kings was the top scorer with 32 followed by Muneer with 24 runs.



Pankaj Sharma was adjudged Man of the Match for scoring 64 runs.

From Bajalta Kings Hameed bowled three overs gave 19 runs with two wickets while Iftikhar of Bain Gliders bowled three overs, gave 31 runs and took two wickets.

In the second match, \Aithem Super Warriors won the toss and elected to ball first.

Agore Superjets scored 145 runs in prescribed 14 overs loosing 6 wickets.Rahul Verma and Vikas Singh were the top scorers with 30 and 25 runs

Aithem Super Warriors managed to score only 134 runs in prescribed 14 overs loosing 6 wickets.



Agore Superjets won the match by 12 runs. Vikas and Ajeet of the team claimed two wickets each.



Vikas Singh was adjudged man of the match with 25 runs and two wickets.



Match was officiated by Saleem Ur Rehman and Pankaj Sasun from J&K Youth Services & Sports.



Member BCCI Ranjeet Kalra and former Ranji Player. Kuldeep Singh Jamwal besides Sarpanch Bajalta Ch Rehmat Ali , Sarpanch Aithem Balwant Singh and Tejpal Singh from Agore were present at the match, witnessed by hundreds of cricket lovers from the constituency as also from Jammu.

Both the matches were played under the overall supervision of Faheem Tak, Vice President Take-1 Channel and Member Organizing Committee.
