| Non-Gazetted Horticulture Employees Union meets Commissioner/Secretary Agriculture Production Department | |
Jammu, February 09 (Scoop News)-A deputation of All J&K Non-Gazetted Horticulture Employees Union met Commissioner/Secretary Agriculture Production Department today in his office chambers at Civil Secretariat, Jammu.
The deputation was headed by Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami, State President CITU and Ab Gani Bhat, Vice-President CITU & State President All J&K Non-Gazetted Horticulture Employees Union.
The deputation appraised the Commissioner regarding various problems confronting the employee’s community. They presented a memorandum consisting of 17 point charter of demands including amendment to SRO 235, removal of pay anomaly, reorganization of the department etc. The Commissioner gave a patient hearing and each demand was discussed. He passed instructions to both the Directors to have the DPC conducted by 25th of February, 2016. He also assured the deputation that all genuine demands shall be considered in a phased manner.
State President appealed all the employees to work vigorously and wholeheartedly for overall functioning of the department so that the benefits of the various schemes percolate to the general public.
