BJP pins hope on younger generation in Leh: Yudhvir Sethi

Leh, October 8,(Scoop News)-Calling upon youth to support BJP, Senior BJP Leader Yudhvir Sethi said that 70 percent of the party candidates for the forthcoming LAHDC elections are young and the party has high hopes from the younger generation of Ladakh. He said the youth is full of energy and vigour and with right opportunities younger generations can write a new chapter of in the history of Leh.
“Modi ji has high hopes from the youngsters and special skill programs have been initiated to train in skills which have good market potential,” he added.
He was speaking at series of poll rallies in Leh today.
Dorje Angchuk president BJYM leh and candidate lower Leh, Naresh Sharma Youth leader BJP and other party functionaries attended the poll meetings.
Yudhvir said that the party would give necessary attention to education sector in the area and required facilities for higher education would be made available in the region. He said the youngsters have to go out to different areas for studies and the party would ensure that students don’t have to move away from home for education.
“Under the new flagships programs of central government required technical and skill development institutions would be opened so that local students can get the required training and start their own ventures,” he added.
He said the BJP aims to give fillip to development in the area and all those issues which have been left out by the previous regims would be taken up by the party.
While addressing the gathering, Naresh said the party stands with the youth and all necessary provisions would be made to ensure that area specific training institutes are established so that younger generation gets the right kind of training. He said tourism has ample scope in the area and youth is actively involved so depending upon the local capacity tourist specific trainings would be imparted.
Appreciating initiatives of the central government, Dorje Angchuk said special projects have been sanctioned for the region and major demand in shape of all weather road connectivity has been accepted, adding that Zoji La tunnel would ensure smooth traffic flow all through the year.
