| Press Club to organize free dental check up camp on October 6 | |
Jammu, October 4 (Scoop News)-In order to spread awareness about the importance of oral health Press Club of Jammu is organising a thorough dental check up camp by an expert team of dental surgeons in the Press club premises on October 6.
All the journalists, members and staff of the Press Club of Jammu can come and undergo dental check up.
Senior dental surgeons Dr Rohin Gupta and Dr AP Singh along with their team are scheduled to organise the dental screening on October 6 between 11.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m on Tuesday.
To ensure success of the dental check up camp Press Club of Jammu has joined hands with two big sponsors namely Colgate and Cipla.
These two companies will offer free dental kit to all those who will come for dental check up and if required medicines would be provided for necessary follow up to the patients.
President of the Press Club of Jammu Ashwani Kumar said, "oral health is a key to healthy life".
He said recently Press Club had organsied a Photography contest in the memory of veteran Photo journalist Ashok Sodhi. This time Press Club of Jammu has decided to hold dental check up camp as part of its commitment towards the journalist community in Jammu and in future similar health check up camps would be organised for media persons to ensure better health care facilities are available to them.
General Secretary of the club Zorawar Singh Jamwal said, "in the coming days the Press Club of Jammu would organise similar health check up camps for the media persons".
He urged the members of the club and media persons working in and around Jammu to participate in the dental check up camp in a big way and seek consultancy of the expert dental surgeons to lead healthy life.
