APHC (M) denounces alleged harassment of people at Radwani-Kulgam by govt. forces | |
Srinagar, July 27, (Scoop News)-The APHC spokesman while condemning the alleged harassment of people by the government forces in Radwani Kulgam of South Kashmir by imposing repeated crackdowns and other coercive means has said that the use of force to curb the public protest against such excesses clearly indicate that terrorizing to submission is a set and continuous policy of the ruling regime.
Terming the night time raids at houses of the protesters in Srinagar and other areas of the valley and arrest of youth including students as retributive tactics of the government, the spokesman in a statement on Monday has denounced it and said that such repressive tactics and methods are not going to weaken the resolve of the people.
Meanwhile, spokesman has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of the Mandir Bagh youth, Owaise Ahmad Faffu, due to drowning and has demanded a fair investigation in the matter. While condoling the death of the youth, the spokesman has also expressed sympathies with the bereaved family.
