| SRS condemns attack on Amarnath pilgrims, demands action against culprits | | Jammu, July 06 (Scoop News)State President, Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Rajiv Mahajan has condemned yesterday attack on Amarnath pilgrims which included at least five pilgrims from Rajasthan.
Reacting strongly to the attack, Rajiv said the attacks on innocent pilgrims prove anti-nationals' distorted mental state.
He said in a statement issued to Press alleged that such attack on pilgrims exposed the security system of State Government for the terror free Amarnath pilgrimage within five days.
Urging the State Government to provide adequate security to the pilgrims, Rajiv Mahajan demanded enquiry into the incident and take action against culprits.
While conveying sympathy to the families of the pilgrims, he prayed for their speedy recovery.
Pilgrims were hurt when anti-national elements hurled stone at the bus they were travelling in at Srinagar yesterday.
The bus carrying 40 passengers was on its way to Srinagar from Baltal base camp for the annual pilgrimage to the Holy shrine of Amarnath.
