Settle Burmese Muslims in Kashmir: Renzushah

Srinagar,June 09 (Scoop News)- Kashmir Society chairman Khwaja Farooq Renzushah today strongly expressed anguish and distress on mass scale prosecution and terror unleashed against minority community particularly against Muslims in Burma which constrained thousands of them to flee.

Kashmir Society chairman Khwaja Farooq Renzushah in a press statement issued to press said that it is responsibility of all civilized citizens to raise their voice for their protection. He appealed Prime Minister of India not to miss this opportunity to register Indian track record of helping such victims and play its role to punish Burma to stop their terror tactics.

In a statement he said that in past West Pakistan Refugees and Tibetans were temporarily given shelter in J&K on humanitarian grounds and same way Rohingya of Burma should be allowed to get shelter in Jammu or Kashmir.
“Our Eidgah at present is wide enough to provide shelter to these helpless victims of Burma but it requires strong democratic commitment at the level of PM”, Renzushah said in a statement.

He further said that UNO should come out of its slumber and save Muslims of Burma otherwise world will get impression that Burma has international mandate to wipe out Muslim minority. This is time for all Hindus and Muslims to stand together to raise strong voice to save humanity .
