| Mufti will prove to be an asset for Tourism :Tourism Industry | | \Jammu, March 28 (Scoop News)-Various tourism related organizations including Shyam Lal Kesar & Rakesh Wazir President & Sr.Vice President Hotel & Restaurant Association Katra,Ravi Mahajan Chairman Jammu Paryatan Vikas Mandal,Kuldeep Wahi President Hotel,Bar & Restaurant Association Jammu,Inderjeet Khajuria President Hotel & Lodges association Jammu while thanking Mufti Mohd.Sayeed for taking visionary step of announcement of developing Mantalai as major International Yoga Center and removing Traffic check posts from National highway which was main cause of harassment of tourists and were our main demands.
In a joint statement issued by the heads of the association also thanked Mr.Mufti for accepting other demands like announcement of Bani-Basohli-Bhaderwah-Jai as tourist circuit,Suchetgarh as part of Border tourism on the anology of wagah Border,developing of Mubarak Mandi as major tourist attraction,re- developing the Sanasar Golf Course,,starting of work on Patnitop ropeway,eco friendly amusement park at various resorts to attract children and students,expansion of Jammu Airport and developing the jammu region as major tourism hub.
The organization while praising the visionary approach of Mufti sahib further requested him that other pending issued like giving of industrial benefits to tourism industry like subsidized power tariffs,other tax benefits and removing of these traffic check posts from Domail – Katra & Katra- Shivkhori stretch may also be ordered.
They further requested that all other demands made during one day Tourism Conference of Chief Minister at jammu in which all industry people were present may also be looked upon at the earliest.
