Christian body condemn attack on Christian


Jammu, February 26, (Scoop News) - JK Christian Minority Welfare Association (JKMWA) condemns the attack and atrocities against the Christian community and their place of worship.


JKMWA in a statement said that the recent cowardly and destructive attack on church in Mangalore in Karnataka has left the Priest, Parishioners and whole community deeply appalled and upset.


Michael wazir President of the association said every place of worship hold deep significance for their entire community and such futile and senseless instance only serve to escalate tension at the time when our Prime Minister Narindera Modi vowed to protect all religious places.

We believe that attacks including burglary, suspected arson, vandalism and stone throwing raising concerns about a deliberate campaign of violence by the Hindu hardliner groups and the concern authorities are not taking the attacks seriously.
Nasir Masih chairman of the association said Christians make up just a small proportion of India’s vast population and in the recent months they have increasingly been the target of attacks and reconversion fueling fears about religious freedom in the country.


Nasir Masih appealed to the Indian government to provide full proof protection to all the holy places of minority community and we believe that the government of india will take stern action against the culprits.
