| DC Shopian convenes DLRC meeting | | Shopian, February 26, (Scoop News)- The District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of Shopian district for the 3rd quarter of financial year 2014-15 was held today under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Bashir Ahmad Bhat. Apart from Lead District Manager, RBI officer, Chief Planning Officer, officers from various Govt. Departments and Branch Heads of different Banks attended the meeting.
During the course of meeting, it was stated that CD ratio of the district has been continuously above 100% for the last many quarters and for the present quarter CD ratio of 138% was recorded by lending advances of Rs. 798 crores. A total of 15 outdoor Awareness Camps have been conducted during the quarter.
While speaking on the occasion, District Development Commissioner stated that district Shopian has become the Ist district to have covered all households under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) by covering each household of the district with at least one bank account.
It was further stated that the percentage of priority sector advances to the total advances is at 90% against the mandatory requirement of 40%.
The District Development Commissioner directed the departments and Banks to work in close coordination to process the self employment cases at the earliest.
