| City police continues its drive against peddlers | | 11 arrested in January month |
Srinagar, Febuary 01, (Scoop News)- Srinagar police continuing its fight against the menace of drugs in the city arrested 11 peddlers in the first month of this year.
City police ensured a remarkable success in last year against drugs has maintaining its momentum this year too. During the first month of this year, Srinagar police arrested 11 peddlers and recovered 9095 tablets, 985 bottles of Codeine Phosphate, 600 grams of charas from them. Six cases have been registered against the peddlers in different police stations of the city in the month of January.
Police has enjoined upon public to come forward and cooperate with them in this collective fight against drug addiction. People are requested that if they notice any such illicit activity in their areas they should inform the police instantly. The identity of conscious citizens will be kept secret.
