| 1 dies, 1 injured in road accidents | | Srinagar, Febuary 01, (Scoop News)- One person died in a road accident in Srinagar while another was injured in Bandipora.
A Santro car bearing registration number JK01-1620 hit and injured an 85 year old pedestrian Abdul Rehman Ahangar son of Ghulam Nabi resident of Chadoora near Lasjan bridge, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Panthachowk, Srinagar. The injured to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.
In another accident, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05A-0547 hit and injured a pedestrian Bashir Ahmad Sheikh son of Monawar Sheikh resident of Doodbugh, Baramulla at Aaloosa, Bandipora. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bandipora for treatment where from he was shifted to Srinagar hospital for further treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Fire incident
Srinagar, 01 February: Fire broke out in the firewood shed/cow shed of Ghulam Qadir Mir son of Ali Mohammad resident of Guzriyal, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kralpora, Kupwara, resulting in damage to the structure. Fire tenders and police brought fire under control.
