| Quran Khawani, Duaieya Majlis held for Uri martyrs in DPL, Srinagar | | 
Srinagar, December 07, (Scoop News)-A Duaieya Majlis and Quran Khawani was held this afternoon in Jamia Masjid Police lines Srinagar for three police personnel who gave supreme sacrifice of their lives in Mohara, Uri encounter on Friday.
These special prayers were held to pay homage to the martyrs by officers and Jawans for the departed souls of the martyrs and to show solidarity with the bereaved families.
The aim of the congressional payers was to convey that J&K police as a family stands with the martyrs and their families and they will be taken care of.
It is pertinent to mention that ASI Mohammad Akbar, HC Abdul Hamid and Constable Sanjay Koul laid down their lives in an encounter with militants in Mohara Uri on Friday 5th of December.
