Prominent Muslim, SC leaders join BJP

Jammu, October 31, (Scoop News)- BJP received one more shot in its arm today when some prominent Muslim and SC leaders embraced the party in a function held at party headquarters. The joining function was presided over by BJP MLA Ashok Khajuria, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul, State Treasurer Chander Mohan Gupta and Jammu-Poonch Constituency Incharge Yudhvir Sethi.
The joining programme was organized by BJYM State President Ravinder Raina and his team.
Prominent among those who joined BJP alongwith their supporters were Imaam Nowshera-Lam area Ikhlaq Ahmed Nakshbandi, State Youth President of Shri Guru Ravidas Seva Samiti Narinder Kesar and State Vice President Gujjar Bakerwal Welfare Association Mohd. Ayub Chowdhary.
Addressing the new entrants in the party, Ashok Khajuria said that BJP is a secular party and the people have started realizing the falsity of Congress and other self proclaimed secularists and are now coming more closer to us. BJP believes in progress of all and discrimination with none. He assured them that BJP will work for the welfare of backward and traditionally exploited people.
Ashok Koul, advised the new entrants to follow and carry out the programmes and duties assigned to them from time to time. This work, they should not think is for the party but is for the progress and prosperity of the entire composite society of the state. This would ensure the long term security of the downtrodden people and their future generations.
Imam Ikhlaq Ahmed Nakshbandi said that after a long the people have found a leader of high stature as Narendra Modi and a party named BJP, which have been attracting the masses for its sincere commitment for the development and welfare of one and all. This party do not work on region on religion lines but embraces every one, which is the reason for its growing popularity even among the Muslims.
Narinder Kesar, on this occasion, said that the anti-dalit policies of the successive governments of NC, Congress and PDP in the state have been the root cause of the under development of the weaker sections and discrimination and now the ray of hope for our community has been seen in BJP, he said adding that more and more SCs are in line to join BJP soon.
Balbir Ram Rattan, Ajay Pargal, Ashish Sareen, Bhanu Pratap Jasrotia, Rahul Sharma, Ravi Kiran Sharma, Kulveer Charak, Honey Singh Jamwal, Ajay Vaid were present on the occasion.
