| Full Dress rehearsal of National police day 2014 held | | Jammu, October 19, (Scoop News)-Full dress rehearsal of National Police Day 2014 was held today. Shakeel A. Beig, IPS DIG Jammu accompanied by Shri Vijay Singh Sambyal, IPS DIG IR Jammu inspected the final rehearsal of Police contingents in connection with National Police Day 2014 at Police Martyrs Memorial Railway Station Jammu and also inspected the preparedness of main function at Police Stadium Gulshan Ground Jammu. The National Police Day 2014 is scheduled to be held on 21st October 2014. National Police Day is observed every year in the country to pay tribute to police martyrs who lay down their lives while fighting militancy and performing law and order duties. The organising as well as reception committees of both the locations were briefed and given directions on the spot.
