AYUSH doctors treat 1,20,000 flood effected patients in Kashmir
Srinagar ,September 30, (Scoop News)- The Directorate of Indian system of medicine and Homeopathy at make shift base camp office in front of 50 bedded Govt. Unani Hospital Shaltang Srinagar. They operated many camps and a mega medical aid camp for the treatment of flood effected patients since 14th September under the supervision of director general ISM&H Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar.


The Department Of ISM&H has organized 35 medical aid camps at various flood effected places and districts including Srinagar,Baramulla,Shopian,Budgam and Ganderbal. Thousands of patients have visited the mega medical aid camp and other camps where free medicines, ,counseling and awareness on hygiene and water born diseases ,free chlorine tablets ,anti-measles vaccination and vitamin A were being provided. Medical teams were rushed to 20 places including those on boat where surface transport links have been affected. Approx. 1,20,000 patients have been treated so far in these medical aid camps organized at different places since 14th September..

DG ISM & H Dr. Abdul Kabir Dar has directed all medical, paramedical and other staff members to follow the principal of humanity and inculcate the spirit of work is worship.
