| Social org. handed over relief material to DDC | |
Jammu,September 19, (Scoop News)- The Sports Persons and Prominent Social Activists of Udhampur District today handed over relief material to District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Mrs. Yasha Mudgal for further distribution among the affective families of Udhampur district after recent incessant rains, floods and landslides at Udhampur.
The relief material comprised of blankets, 20 ltr water gallons, tarpaulins, kitchen sets and torches along with batteries etc.
Mrs. Yasha Mudgal appreciated the role of sports persons, social activists, various NGOs and associations of the district which are carrying out relief operations in the worst situations.
The DDC appealed all citizens of Udhampur district to come forward to help the victims by contributing in cash or kind.
Among others, Senior Officers of the various department, Sports persons and Social activists which include, Raj Guru, Advocate Bharat Bhushan, Amar Nath, Suresh Khajuria, Ajay Gupta, Harish Kumar Jandial, Sunil Slathia, Pawan Regira, Arun Gupta, P.D. Singh and Arun Mehta were also present on the occasion.
