| OGW held with pistol in Pattan | | Srinagar, July 25, (Scoop News)- An OGW of LeT outfit was apprehended with a pistol and grenades in a joint operation of Police and Army in Pattan area of Baramulla district last evening.
Acting on a specific information, Baramulla Police along with 29 RR laid a naka at Baba Teng, in the jurisdiction of station Pattan. During the search at the naka an OGW of LeT outfit Parvaiz Ahmad Khuroo son of Ali Mohammad resident of Chanpora Sopore was arrested. A Chinese Pistol, with one magazine, five Pistol Rounds and 02 grenades were recovered from him.
Pattan police has registered a case in this regard and investigation is on.
Meanwhile Ganderbal police has taken cognizance of an incident in the office of ZEO, Tulmulla where some locals allegedly spotted a youth with a girl when the offices were closed. A case has been registered and the youth has been taken into custody.
Zahoor Ahmad Sheikh son of Mohammad Syed Sheikh resident of Saloora Ganderbal was today allegedly spotted by some locals with a girl in ZEO Office Tulmulla in the jurisdiction of police station Kheerbawani when the offices were closed on account of holiday.
Police has registered a case and taken Zahoor Sheikh in custody. However, some miscreants pelted stones on the police who were chased away.
