| BJP expels Arif Majid Pampori for 6 years | |
Jammu/Srinagar, April 9, (Scoop News)- State BJP has expelled SArif Majid Pampori, state secretary BJYM from the primary membership of the party for 6 years. He was found indulging in anti party activities in Srinagar.
It is pertinent to mention here that BJP had earlier nominated Arif Majid Pampori as BJP candidate from Srinagar parliamentary constituency. After his expulsion party fielded another candidate Mr. Fayaz Ahmed Bhat from Srinagar parliamentary constituency. Fayaz Ahmed Bhat also filed his nomination paper today at Srinagar before the Returning officer.
It may be mentioned here that Arif Majeed Pampori, the BJP candidate from Srinagar had resigned stating that the manifesto of the right-wing party which talked about thr abrogation of Article 370, was against the interests of the people of Kashmir.
