| Parivartan organises free medical health, eye checkup camp | |
Jammu, June 17 (Scoop News)-In order to provide proper health and medical facilities to people at their door steps especially in the far flung areas of city, an NGO ‘Parivartan Jammu” alongwith the support of Red Cross society organised a free medical cum eye check up camp at village Dihayaran, Akhnoor road here today.
The camp was inaugurated by BJP State Secretary Munish Sharma, who was the chief guest and Ashwani Sharma preside over the camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Munish Sharma hailed the efforts done by the members of Parivartan team and said, It is very important to provide medical facilities to the people, who cannot go to hospital to get treatment is really a noble idea.
“In today’s camp all patients would get free medicines after being physically examined by the specialist doctors,” he said.
Addressing during the camp, chairman of Parivartan Jammu, Vikas Sharma informed that there was a need to hold a free medical and eye check up camp in the village and the most of the people in this village are farmers and they had no spare time to get in the hospitals to get some treatment. So our NGO would provide them proper treatment from specialised doctors and also provide free medicines after proper examination.
Stressing for the need for more free medical camps, he said, these people need more facilities at their door steps, so our NGO would hold some more camps in these villages so that more and more treatment would be provided to them.
He further expressed gratitude to the people who helped to make this camp a successful event.
The staff members of Red Cross Society present during the camp include Joginder Kumar, Kuldeep Bhat, Santosh Kumari, Leela Devi, Surinder Vermani, Monika Sharma, Satvir Singh, Sudershan Singh, Amar Devi and Sureshta Devi.
Among others present on the occasion were Rajinder Singh, Vishal Targotra, Naresh Sharma, Joginder Kumar, Prem Sagar Sharma, Suresh Sharma and others.
