| Army organises naoshera idol programme in Naoshera | | Jammu, June 16 (Scoop News) –The Naoshera Brigade organised a singing competition, aptly named ‘Naoshera Idol’, to discover and project the hidden talent present amongst local School children of Naoshera. Auditions from two different categories of age groups, below 15 years and 16 to 30 years, spread over four weeks, were conducted in various parts of Naoshera. The top 10 finalists were finally selected for the grand finale. The event culminated with a thrilling musical extravaganza ‘The Grand Finale’ held on 15 Jun 2013, at Butalia Auditorium. The top two finalists and the runner up from each categories were felicitated with cash award prizes by the Convener, Family Welfare Organisation, Ace of Spades Division.
General Officer Commanding, Ace of Spades Division, was the chief guest for the event, complimented the efforts put in by the all persons, who were involved in this talent search while carrying out interaction with large number of civil and military dignitaries who attended the event.
