KP’s death at Jagti due to wrong policies of Government: ASKPC
Hell Bent upon Ethnic Cleansing Of Kashmiri Pandits

Jammu, May 25 (Scoop News) – All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC), today alleged that the government is hell bent upon ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Pandits.
In an emergency meeting of executive body of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) was held here under the chairmanship of its President H L Chatta today, to discuss present scenario of displaced Community.

In the meeting serious view of the death of a community member Kuldip ji of Jagati Camp was taken, who is said the cause of death was Starvation which he faced for days together for the wrong policies of the government towards Kashmiri Pandits.


It was also pointed out that inmates of Jagti Township are spending there lives in dire straits due to 18 hours regular Power cuts & Shortage of water Supply to the Township, which has created crises among the People of Jagti Township . In the meeting it was demanded that a white Paper of Funds being received and spent , from Central Government to state government for rehabilitation of the Kashmiri internally displaced people at Jammu may be made Public, It was appealed to government to mitigate the problems of Jagti Township on priority basis .

ASKPC criticized the government decision for getting pension papers attested by concerned treasury officers during this scorching summer season when temperature is more than 45 C , which is not possible for the aged pensioners to stand in a que during these hot days. It appealed to Govt to extend the date till September 2013 for the purpose.

In the meeting, it was also pointed out that government, which was committed to passage of Temple Bill is playing dilly delay tactics for the passage of Temple Bill. ASKPC warned that Government has left us with agitation Path only which the organization of ASKPC is seriously .

The Executive members in the meeting were R K Raina Vice President ASKPC , B l Handoo, Ashok Dhar, Shadi Lal Mujoo, Ruby Mattoo, Veena Koul , Sarla Ji, Sudhir Dhar, AK Warikoo,, S K Raina, Ravi Raina, M L Kashkari, Sanjay Kakroo.
