Valedictory function of Techspardha-2013


Kurukshetra/Jammu, February 4 (Scoop News) –Devender Singh Rana, Provincial President J&K National Conference, Jammu province said that Ignited minds ignite innovations and the professional colleges are a laboratory for the technical minds to learn technology and emerge as future managers.

Rana who was addressing a gathering at National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra organized in connection with the valedictory function of Techspardha-2013 a national level technical fest as a part of Golden Jubilee celebration of the Institute said that students must imbibe in themselves the spirit to add value in each stage of their life as also add value to the ecosystem that they live in or work in.

Rana who is an alumni of NIT, Kurukshetra was the chief guest at the valedictory function of Techspardha-2013 which was inaugurated by Padma Vibhushan Dr. A. Sivathanu Pillai, CEO and Managing Director Brahmos Aerospace in which students from 43 different engineering colleges from all over the country participated.

Rana said there is no substitute of hard work. “You need to do a lot of hard work in life. You need to have a clear vision, clear mind about what you want to do in life and these two have to be blended together to achieve success”. However he said the barometer of success varies from a person to person but essentially monitory gains are no barometer of success.


Amidst thundering applause from the students in the jam-packed jubilee hall of the Institute , Rana said life is a cycle of success, failures and setbacks and one should learn to be composed, calm in success and graceful in failures and setback and learn from them to make each failure an opportunity which could add determination which will lead to success.
Earlier was taken around the campus and shown the latest state of aft infrastructure added in the campus.
