| Militants shot dead a kidnapped man in Pulwama | | Arms, ammunition recovered in Sopore | Srinagar,January 12(Scoop News) –Some unknown militants kidnapped 40 years old Mohammad Shafi Dar son of Abdul Gani Dar resident of Aglar Kandi, in under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajpora, Pulwama. Later the bullet ridden body Shafi was recovered near a passenger shed at Akhal. The body of deceased is laying in Police Station Rajpora for further legal formalities. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Arms, ammunitions recovered in Sopore
Srinagar, January 12: Police along with 32-RR recovered huge cache of arms, ammunition in forest area of Chatoosa, Sopore here on Friday evening.
Following a tip-off, Police Sopore, 32-RR launched a search operation in forest area of Chatoosa, Sopore, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Dangiwacha and recovered one AK 47 short barrel Rifle, three AK 47 magazines, ninety six AK 47 rounds, one RPG launcher and two UBGL launcher.
Sopore Police has registered a case and investigation is on.
