| Pannun Kashmir condemn the communal intentions of Geelani | | 
Jammu, October 20 (Scoop News)- Expressing concern over the separatists leader Sayed Ali Shah Gillani’s recent warning of launching an agitation against the widening of the existing track between Baltal and Holy Amarnath cave,Panun Kashmir has urged the authorities concerned not to pay heed to his communal outbursts under the guises of his love and concern of ecology. In a political affairs committee meeting chaired by its convener Dr.Agnishekhar condemned the communal intentions of Sayed Ali Shah Geelani.
Dr.Agnishekhar said had the love for environment and ecology been the real cause of concern for the huryat leader,he should have expressed the similar apprehensions when Dacsum-Kishtwar road and Mogul road were constructed cutting through forests.Why pollution and huge encroachments of famous dal lake has not disturbed Geelani in the past.
Dr.Agnishekhar remided the people that the same huryat leader and his ilk triggered massive agitation in 2008 over the transfer of the piece of land to Shri Amarnath Board for construction of transit hutments at Baltal for Amarnath Yatris.That time it was mischievously projected as govt. of India’s attempt to effect a demographic change in the muslim dominated Kashmir resulting in loss of lives and business breakdown in the state for 72 days.
Prof.M.K.Raina,chairman of PAC said that on the one hand Huryat leader Sayed Ali Shah Geelani out rightly rejects secularism as non-islamic concept that facilitates different religio-cultural groups to co-exist unconditionally with equal dignity and honour and on the other hand he now pleads the return of the displaced kashmiri pundits to the Kashmir valley.It is no prerogative of Huryat leader to suggest that Amarnath Yatra should be managed by the local kashmiri pundits adding that yatra be limited to 15 days only.
Taking part in discussions Sanjay Dattatreya National Cordinator of Panun Kashmir told the members that this is more than enough indication of huryat leader’s game plan with far reaching consequences.Kashmiri Pandits are wise enough to read between the lines.
Another participant O.N Bhatt advised the separatist leader not to intervene and hurt the religious sentiments of crores of hindus in general and kashmiri pundits in particular.
Commenting on the current scenario Sanjay Saraf reminded the members that kashmiri pandits have not forgotten the objection of the same huryat leader in the recent past against the Govt’s return and rehabilitation policy for the settlement of displaced kashmiri pundits in clusters at different parts of the valley.He had created a fear psychosis among the masses that Govt.was intending to settle RSS people in these clusters with the hidden connivance of Isreal’s secret agency.He while ridiculing the baseless presumptions of the huryat leader said that Panun Kashmir has never given its nod to such ill conceved settlements for kp’s in the valley.The members in one voice reiterated that the permanent return of KP’s is possible only when a separate homeland is created for the entire displaced community. Among others who attended the meeting were Ramesh Chander, Oja Kaul,Raja Ji Tichoo,R.Peer,Omesh Jee,Ashtoush Kaul and CP Kaul.
