| JKNPP shall participate in observing death anniversaries of Maulana Farooq & Ghani Lone | | 
Srinagar, May 18(Scoop News) –Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, J&K National Panthers Party announced that the Panthers Party shall actively participate in the strike on 21st May, 2012 to mourn the horrifying assassinations of Maulana Mohd. Farooq, Mirwaiz of Kashmir and veteran Kashmiri leader, Shri Abdul Ghani Lone who were assassinated by the terrorists on 21st May. Mirwaiz was assassinated in 1990 whereas Shri Lone was assassinated in 2002.
The NPP Chief appealed to all the nationalists and democratic parties and organizations to observe 21st May as ‘anti-violence’ day in memory of two great sons of the soil who had always stood against violence and terrorism.
In his tributes, the NPP Supremo described Mirwaiz Mohd. Farooq is a great ever-smiling human being with ocean of love for all whereas Abdul Ghani Lone never compromised his principles and commitment to the cause of the people for whom he kept on fighting till the last breath. Assassination of both of them exposed the forces who were exploiting the Kashmiries in the name of one excuse or the other. NPP Chief said that history does not forgive anybody howsoever high he may be. This is the history which shall, one day, pass the judgment as to who martyred these and so many other souls in the peace-loving Valley of Kashmir.
Panthers Party Chief paid them tributes as great Kashmiries, humanists and with commitment to the cause of the people.
