| Abducted lady recovered by police within 3 hours | | accused arrested |
Srinagar, February 07 (Scoop News) – Police Station Kreeri received a written complaint from Mohammad Shafi Chopan son of Satar Chopan resident of Watergam that her wife namely name withheld was kidnapped by Mohammad Ramzan Sheikh son of Ghulam Mohammad Shiekh resident of Wagil.
On this complaint case FIR No. 07/2012 U/S 366 RPC registered in Police Station Kreeri and investigation was set in motion. A special team under the supervision of SHO Police Station Kreeri Inspector Showkat Ahmad was constituted and a hunt for the recovery of the lady was launched in the area.
Due to the strenuous efforts of Kreeri police, the kidnapped lady was recovered from Tapper, Pattan within 03 hours after receipt of complaint besides, the alleged abductor has also been arrested.
