The vision behind RNP comes from its founder, Bharti Kaul, a Kashmiri Pandit woman and a Kathak Sadhika herself. Having seen first-hand how circumstances can take away the chance to pursue one's art, she created RNP as a stage for artists who had to put their passion on hold, particularly women and those who never had the chance to perform. It celebrates the courage to begin again.
